The Oreo Shoes were the first pair of shoes I ever customized as an artist. I knew I wanted to incorporate some sort of geometric pattern into the design, but the Oreo theme was an afterthought. The colors meshed well, so I ran with it. I sketched around 20 different designs before actually beginning work. I included elements of the brand such as the NABISCO logo, Oreo logo, and "Wonderfilled" promotion (none of which I own or am associated with). The original idea was to make a custom painted shoe in about a week flat. Needless to say, I got a little carried away. These shoes have over 3,000 individual hand painted triangles on them. From start to finish, the shoes took over 100 hours of work. Every element about them was hand made by me, from the pattern to the tags. The heel patches, however, were custom sewn by (@ez_stitcher). With a lace color change and a midsole restoration, I finished the Oreo shoes. From there, my business took off. Enjoy the photo gallery.
